It would be useful to enable angle steps snapping options, such as integral degrees and rational fractions of pi.

A suggestion : The existence of snapping angles could be designed in the visible interface, for ease of use.

For example, the compass control could display two concentric disk areas, the inner one for discrete angles, and the outer disk for continuous angles.

The inner disk would be graduated with 15 degrees snapping angles, and the outer disk would not be graduated, suggesting continuous angle settings.

This arrangement would make it possible to snap on 15 degree angles by using the inner disk area, without requiring the user to press shift on the keyboard.
