Issue with Composite Transformation Mask Overlays

The Mask Overlays are not working correctly in the Composite Transformation. To reproduce the issue:

1 Run PWP 8.0.423
2 Create two Color Chart Test Patterns
3 Add Composite Transformation to one of the Test Patterns
4 Select the other Test Pattern as the Overlay
5 Create New Overlay Amount Mask
6 Click the Invert Mask button
7 Note the correct 75% Transparent Mask Overlay
8 Click the Display Preview button and then the Display Input button
9 Note that Mask Overlays no longer show

Also, the following steps (continuing from above) will cause PWP to crash with no crash recovery notice upon re-opening PWP (to restore the multiple Test Patterns that were created).

To reproduce the PWP crash, perform the above 9 steps and then:

10 Click the Subtract button on the Overly Mask window
11 Use the Paint brush to mark mask
12 Click the Create 16-bit Mask button
13 Note that PWP crashes and upon re-starting there is no option to restore the two completed Color Chart Test Patterns that were created.

This should be fixed for the next release.

The reason the test patterns are not restored after a crash is that the workspace is only saved when a transformation exist by clicking its OK button. Since some of the test patterns do not have a dialog box, they do not trigger the workspace being saved. In most cases this should not be a real problem since one will either save a transformation later or if not, the test patterns are easily recreated.

I'll put the fixes through the paces when it's ready. Thx.
