Update Available - Version 8.0.423

Post by jsachs »

An update is available to Version 8.0.423 (12-Mar-2024)
Download Link: https://www.dl-c.com/Downloads.html

The changes (taken from the update log) are:

Batch Operations: when paused at a breakpoint, making changes to the settings and then clicking Cancel and restoring the original settings lets the batch operation continue normally. Otherwise, canceling terminates the batch process.

Fixed problems with zooming images using the mouse scroll wheel in some cases when an auxiliary input image was being displayed.

Test pattern transformations: output images are now created in the working color space (or gray working color space for B&W images).

Composite transformation: the menu you get when right-clicking on the input or overlay image now lets you copy the locations of the alignment points to the other image. If the two images are about the same size and are approximately aligned to begin with, this lets you place alignment points in one image and then copy them to the other image, quickly giving you a starting point for further refinement.

Canceling the recalculation of certain transformations that can be very slow now displays a dialog box to either set the output image to Error which then propagates to any downstream transformations. Or, you can bypass the transformation which will cause it to be ignored until you un-bypass it later.

Just tried to download. Same virus message from edge and chrome. I guess it's fake, but anyway. No problem downloading the entire installer.

Thanks for the report.

Strange, but very unlikely there is a virus.
