Fresson prints

Post by tomczak »

The Fresson prints are mentioned in this portfolio (near the end). Would anybody know what's involved and how to simulate it?

Apparently they are made by one lab in France (Atelier Fresson) that uses a labor-intensive proprietary process.

No real idea how to simulate them, but you might start by adding texture since Fresson prints are very grainy.

I tried to emulate the look with any easy option: fotosketcher.com

Using the 'vintage photo' drawing style seems like a good start, and then tinting and texture can be added to taste.
