An update is available to Version 8.0.110 (13-Jun-2020)
The changes (taken from the update log) are:
File Open: fixed problem with changing current image not clearing out the transparency mask from the previously current image.
File Open: added support for reading RGB TIFF files with an embedded alpha channel (similar to transparent PNG files). The transparency mask becomes the mask for the File Open. Currently no support for writing transparent TIFF files or for reading 8-bit or 16-bit grayscale transparent TIFFs.
