blinking zoomed images

I am mistaken that before extending the number of imput images to eight in the Blink function , it was possible to blink zoomed details of images? I am not sure but somehow I think that previously I was able to zoom on the same detail of two images., e.g. after two different sharpen settings, etc., and inupt them to compare with the Blink tool. Now after the green button is pressed, the zoomed detailes zoom out and only the whole images blink.

David ...
It looks like Jonathan responded to your post, but did so under the "How to register for the message board" heading.

Here is Jon's post:

I did make that change for reasons I don't entirely recall now, but I agree it should be removed and have done so for the next maintenance release.

Sorry, I'm on a photography workshop and was a little sleep deprived when I posted that to the wrong topic.

Sorry for my late response.
It is a nice, nice feeling I can still remember something far back :).
Comparing zoomed detailes by blinking is very useful.
Thanks all.
