Hue Saturation transformation : undesirable binning

Post by pierrelabreche »

When using the Hue-Saturation transformation, often the effect is localized in all-or-nothing bins, as illustrated below.

I would like to smoothly apply the effect. Is it possible to achive a less pixellated result ? How could the user control the feathering of the effect ?

Have you tried increasing the Blur Radius -- this expands the selection to include adjacent colors.

Alternatively, select a wider range of color by clicking and dragging on the input image area that has the colors you want to change.

Whatever you do, that large a hue change is almost certain to produce artifacts at the boundary between selected and deselected colors.
