An update is available to Version 8.0.357 (1-Apr-2023)

The changes (taken from the update log) are:

Two Zone and Three Zone Adjustment: the histogram now has colored bars.

Mask: fixed problem of freehand mask tool outline not showing up in some cases.

Color Balance now shows up as Balance in the Color menu.

Fixed problem in HSV hue histograms with mask and colored bars.

Histogram Tool: added HSV-HB and HSL-HB hue-brightness histograms.

Added a new Color Zones transformation. This transformation lets you define up to three zones in an image based by selecting a brightness range and/or a hue range. Then you can make independent adjustments to each zone’s brightness, saturation and color balance. See the updated help file and Transformations.pdf for more information.

All of the histogram enhancements are interesting. I'm wondering if you would explain the 'blocks' in the -HB versions? (see attached) some are solid and some are framed, and I'm not sure what they signify. Thank you.

The all-gray patches correspond to colors that do not occur in the input image. The brightness of the area surrounding each color patch is proportional to the number of pixels with that combination of brightness and hue. Increasing the Expansion should make it easier to see what is going on since the orange from the brick is so common that is is depressing the rest of the histogram.

Latest version,

I can't seem to find anything in the Histogram Help File, nor the Curves and Histogram PDF, on HB Histograms. Am I looking in the wrong place?
