Support for Spyderchecker 24

Post by priort »

Jonathan,

I have a Spyder Checker24. It is basically the same as a 24 patch X-rite CC24 but row1 and row 3 are inverted in direction so a slight remapping is needed and the reference values are slightly different. I have modified your reference file and simply choose as if I have the standard color checker and it seems to work but if you would like to officially incorporate it I could provide the ref file with LAB values. I think then the only task for you would be to add a selection reference and add the extra ref file...let me know and I will send if you would like otherwise I will just use my "tricked" version....https://www.datacolor.com/photography-d ... kr-family/ THe 24 patch version uses rows e thru h from ie the second half of the 48 patch version data provided here. I have reordered them in the ref file so that your routine selects the right patches. https://www.datacolor.com/wp-content/up ... ata_V2.pdf

Thanks, if you have a reference file and a photo of the target, just email them to me and I will incorporate them (jsachs@dl-c.com).

Are you using it with Create Profile or Match Reference?

Thanks Johnathan...let me know if you need any other info.....its basically a cc24 with rows 1 and 3 running in the opposite order ...I have used it to create a profile not sure of the nuance or difference using match reference ....I'll have to take a closer look. I just recently came across the profile function....thanks again....https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=htt ... AdAAAAABAF

The latest release includes SpyderCheckr 24 and SpyderCheckr 48 support in both the Match Reference and the Create Profile transformations.
