An update is available to Version 8.0.151 (18-Sep-2020)

The changes (taken from the update log) are:

Fixed problems with clicking OK or Apply in transformations when a mask dialog box was open with a pending mask operation.

I'm not seeing any change to this problem in this release. Here's a screenshot from 151.

I reopened the Filter Transformation, and reopened the Mask Dialog. Then I did a test Subtract Flood Fill and on the area of the image shown with the arrows. Then I hit OK on the Filter Transformation without first pressing the "Perform Pending..." button on the Mask Dialog. The Mask operation completed, but the change did not propagate to later nodes of the Workflow. The same behavior still occurs when merely the Undo operation is used in the Mask Dialog.

It appears to work OK here. Possibly there is something else going on with the image tree. Can you email me a workspace script file?
