ReTouching eye-glasses' reflections...Redux

Post by den »

Recently had an occasion to retouch a casual point-shoot camera jpeg with PWP7 and used a previously posted technique from the 'old Tips Message Board': http://www.dl-c.com/cgi-bin/discus/show ... #POST28887 to remove eye-glasses' reflections:

In this instance the pupil catch-lights where used for the mirror '2-point (shift/rotate/scale)' image alighnment rather than the eye glass frame corners. This technique works well when the eye glasses are near the lens perpendicular... ...add'l retouching includes slight red-eye removal and slight skin smoothing with the Sharpen-Blaterial Sharpen transform.

Have fun...
