PWP 6.0

Post by MikeG »

Jonathan/Kiril,
I'm looking forward to 64bit support - any thoughts on timing?
Mike.

Last year we were told the Beta version would be out by the end of the year. Which year was not stated but, silly me, I thought that meant by the end of 2010 and I bought a new computer to handle the new 64 bit version.

Kiril, any update? I run out of memory processing some panos in PWP and could benefit from the extra memory map of 64 bit support.

Thanks

Actually, a small PWP 6.0 beta of both new 32 and 64 bit versions has been running for the last several months. (We have kept the beta small so that we could respond more efficiently to bug reports.) We will do a short public beta at the end of September and then hopefully release the product soon thereafter.

As I head for bed it is only an hour and a half before the end of September. I dread the amount of perfect picture processing I need to do in the coming days.

Any update on PWP 6 public beta??
