Little misbehaviour in Layout

Post by Dieter Mayr »

Hello

I runned into a little misbehviour in Layout today.
The unit in Layout i have set to mm
I was creating some Labels and created a Layout with a thin Border to have a mark for cutout.
So i just needet a fine line and tried the thinnest possible line, 0.01mm
It was not storing the border and soon i found out the reason, the widht is stored in inch in the format 0.000.
So 0.01mm is to small, the smallest value possible is 0.03mm which stores as 0.001 inch in the layout file.
I was trying around a bit and found that after saving the file with a correct value or when changeing the units to anything else then mm and back to mm, the input field for Border Width just shows 1 digit right of the comma, 0.0.
But when creating panels from zero, it shows 0.00, changeing units makes them 0.0 again when changeing back to mm.
0.1 mm is sure thin enough for a thin line, i just found it irritating to have 2 digits when creating new panels.
I just did not think much and increased the lowes digit to get the thinnest possible line.
Maybe it can be changed to have just one digit right of the comma (0.0) when the unit is set to mm ?
