Update Available - Version 8.0.24

Post by jsachs »

An update is available to Version 8.0.24 (28-Dec-2019)

The changes (taken from the update log) are:

Compare: fixed problems with computation of final image in some cases when No Image was selected.

Obtained a digital certificate for Digital Light a & Color, so future installs should no longer generate warnings from Microsoft about installing software from an unknown developer.

Autorange, Equalize, 21-Step Gray Calibration: default curve options are now overridden to always show curve only.
Resize: Added options to resize based on the shorter or longer dimension of image. See updated help file or Transformations.pdf for details.

Fixed a problem of certain popup menus going off-screen if you have multiple monitors
.
File Open: fixed problems with Shift-Click not selecting multiple images once the file list has been scrolled.

Batch Status window: the pathname of the current file is now abbreviated to show only its beginning and end, if it is more than 80 characters long.

When a batch job is completed, the last processed image now remains current instead of returning to the first image.

Edit menu: Changed the name of the Add Side Branch command to Insert Splitter After to reduce confusion. There is now a separate Add Branch command to add a branch to a splitter.

Fixed problem that could cause a crash when closing the next to last branch of a splitter (which also causes the splitter to be closed).

The Copy transformation now sets its original pathname, if any, from its input image.

When saving scripts without filenames and the script is later run, when asking for a pathname, the initial folder is now set to your default folder if the original file was opened with File/Open from Default. This only applies to scripts (and workspace scripts) saved with the latest version of PWP. Scripts created with older versions always start in the last File/Open folder, although if you like to live dangerously, you can edit the script files manually by changing from_default 0 to from_default 1.
