Adobe *.8bf plugin files?

Post by den »

...
Could not help noticing the recent added capability for plugins... ...Is it possible to add *.8bf plugin compatibility?

These are Plugins usually used with PhotoShop, for example: XiDenoiser_mp64.8bf
http://ximagic.com/d_download.html

I will occasionally use this for noise reduction in the 32bit version with IrfanView as the host; save the resulting image version to a folder; then open it in PWP; and either 1:1 Clone or Composite-Blend with an Amount Mask with a PWP image version.

Sorry, no chance for 8bf.

The Nik Dfine2 and Topaz DeNoise are both quite good. So is the noise reduction built into the DxO raw converters.
