Two more problems connected with Halftone

Post by davidh »

When you use Move to destination command to move an image anywhere below Halftone transformation, the image below this inserted one ends in error: Illegal input image type.
When you reopen and reprocess the transfered image the image below it recovers.

When you do the same to move an image above Halftone transformation, the Halftone ends in error: Illegal input image type.
After reprocessing the transfered image, the Halftone image recovers.

--------------

Another problem connected with Halftone transformation:

- top image color 48 bit
- Brightness Curve with a mask
- the Splitter with 4 identical side branches composed of: Brightness, Halftone, Monochrome
- added another Brightness Curve with a different mask above the Splitter -> the effect got applied to all 4 side branches
so far OK

- the second Brightness Curve moved to the last (4th) side branch with the Brightness as the destination ->
1. Halftone ended in error: Illegal input image type
2. the other 3 side branches were not recalculated and preserved the (moved) Brightness Curve effect

add 1
when both the Brightness Curve and the Halftone outputs of the 4th side branch were reopened and reprocessed the last Monochrome output got recovered too

add 2
when the top Brightenss Curve (above the Splitter) was reprocessed, the first 3 side branches were recalculated and the (moved) Brightness Curve effect was removed

One more observation:
When the Brightness Curve was moved from the 4th side branch back above the Splitter, all first images in all four branches ended in error: Illegal input image type.
After reprocessing the moved Brightness Curve image, the errorred images recovered and the Brightness effect was propagated correctly downstream all side branches.

What is interesting is that only the next image downstream ends in error but not the following ones depending on it.
