- open an image
- add side-branch
- in either of the branches open a transformation do nothing, just let the dialog open
- move the browser dividing line a bit left or right -> you get an error message Internal error: zoom factor = 0. It seems to be the splitter error since it is now active.
It happens only if the dialog is open and not hidden.
Under certain circumstances, which I have been unable to discover for sure, you can move browser dividing line without any error. But if you then close the dialog and click on the splitter or the other (empty) branch box, the preview displays extremely zoomed in. Out of proportion to the distance you moved the dividing line. This seems to be related to the problem with the "zoom factor = 0" above. So perhaps this might provide some clue.
Sometimes the circumstances may be like this:
- open an image
- add side-branch
- in either of the branches open a transformation do nothing, just let the dialog open
now change
- click first on the empty branch box to make it current and move the dividing line -> no error
- then click on the image to display the dialog and again move the dividing line
- the follow as described above: close the dialog, click on the splitter, etc.
But it does not work 100%.
Another rather complicated and fuzzy thing, I am affraid.
Two side-branch oddities
