There almost seem to be more enhancements then bug reports. It looks promising.

The less time I spend fixing bugs, the more time I spend on enhancements. Currently working on option to make image browser a separate window that can be moved to another monitor.

A few items for consideration:

1.
The Overwrite Warning when saving an image is tedious, especially when the user simply wants to overwrite the existing file. Instead of a dropdown menu of only two choices, it would be faster if the two choices were presented at the beginning, and possibly make Cancel a third choice. The user would choose by radio button, after modifying a pathname entry if he wants.
And perhaps the same interface for saving a script file.

2.
Could the help file state for the Adjust transformation which curve it adjusts: HSV-V, luminance, ...

3.
In PWP7, using ColorCorrection, it was easy to probe an image other than the one being worked on in order to establish a desired color point. If there is an easy way in PWP8, the help file should tell us how.

4.
Equalize: Should the user be able to click on the image and a modification point is created on the curve?

5.
Is the Smudge tool on deck or has it been moved somewhere?

1) I agree the current overwrite dialog needs to be streamlined.

2) What section of Adjust are you referring to? In the Curve mode For B&W images, Adjust adjusts the brightness. For color images, it adjusts the channel you select. If you are referring to Selective Color brightness adjustments, the Settings menu for that mode has HSV/HSL options.

3) There is no easy way to do this is PWP 8. Conceivably there could be some kind of global palette you could set and pick colors from.

4) That makes sense.

5) Smudge is still on the list to add back later.
