faster zip compressed tiff saving?

Hi

I noticed that the saving of zip compressed tiff files is not as much faster than 6.x. (aka seems still single threaded)

Is it possible to add some parallel processing? As far as I once looked in the tiff standard it does allow multiple zip compressed parts. But I don't know if this is commonplace and supported by other programs.

There are no plans to multitask LZW or ZIP TIFF compression/decompression at this time.
