In the PWP5 Beta forum we had a suggestions category which i personally found very practical.
Wouldn't it be useful to have a suggestions category here in the new forum, too ?

Re: Workflows: What's Next?
Another useful (at least for me) new feature would be to be able to make manual inputs during the workflow runs. Like for example to have a Text widget and input a new text (lets say a description of the picture for a calendar) every time a new picture runs through the workflow. For longer texts, or...

Re: Save widget and ICC profiles
I did quiet many of this conversions recently and never recognized a problem.
I just made a test with a 48bit Tiff converting to my printers profile, worked fine.
Maybe there is a problem with your Durst profile, did you check with other profiles too ?

Re: sidecars?
Just a addition to Maciejs explanations: Sidecar files are named for example DSCF1234.RAF.wfl if the original raw file is DSCF1234.RAF, the same works with JPG, respectevly. The Sidecar files are stored in the same folder as the original file, a small icon with 3 waves (like the Workflow-Button) is ...

Re: RAW sidecar files and silent overwriting
The "Save as" would be especially useful when saving "general purpose" *.wfl files.

Re: Viewing Messages
I just noticed another small display problem, not regarding the forum itself but the dl&c bar at the top of the site. This is how the bar looks at IE8, but this problem is just at the forum page, all others are correct. Menue_IE8.png With compatibility mode this is shown correct, too: Menue_IE8_...

Re: Viewing Messages
Addendum to my previous post
In IE7 and compatibility mode the white triangle (and the "delete" square, at a own post) change color to red when staying with the mouse pointer, in IE8 both versions are visible and the white dissappears when pointing with the mouse.

Jonathan
I've just upgradet to IE8, the appearence of the triangles is the same as bogumil posted before, and switching to compatibility mode gives the same appearece as I had with IE7 (I have posted a screenshot, too).
All this with Windows XP, SP3
