Never mind. I had the thought that the image I was working on was too high of a resolution to actually see the feathering at default zoom factor on the split preview. Tried it, again, with the preview zoomed to 100% and saw the feather apply, as expected.

Transformation>Gray>Adjust

After making a couple changes, creating a mask, clicking on Feather, moving slider all the way to the right (well...anywhere along the scale...I just wanted to make sure I could see it), and clicking Apply does nothing.

Are there features yet to be added to PWP 8? For example, will the program eventually support raw files, again? Will it include that nifty toolbox that used to allow you to lighten/darken, increase/decrease saturation, etc, with a brush? If these things aren't allowed to be asked here, please delete...

Thanks, den, that explains a lot! Another clarification, please... After I have the mask sitting in "Mask 1", then select a transformation (Saturation) and click the box to select the prior created mask, I can't feather it after the fact? In other words, I need to know what feather amount ...

When I select Transformation>Masks, then click on the box next to Mask 1 to create a mask, the left preview zooms to some odd zoom factor and the right preview pane is blank. Could be that I simply don't understand how to use this transformation. I looked in the Help file, but there isn't much info ...
