Re: Colour Picker and Working Colour Space

Marsala is inside sRGB, but due to the mechanics of "Maintain full Gamut" rendering intent occurs that small diffrence.

Re: Colour Picker and Working Colour Space

Marv, I have saved a jpeg of a Marsala patch fom pantones site, opened in in PWP with Prophoto working space, and it does not look pinkish. I have tried to open it in both sRGB and ProPhoto, its a slight difference, nothing very noticable. Did not check if Marsala is inside or outside of sRGB. I hav...

Re: Colour Picker and Working Colour Space

Marv, Where did you get the Marsala - colorsample from, what colour space was it in, how did you convert it ? I suppose you were in 16 Bit colour, it does not make any sense to use ProPhoto in 8 bit, because it is too big and will produce colour steps in 8 Bit. I have downloaded the ASE file for Mar...

Re: Can't use Misc Tools when Browse window is open--bug?

Janet,

If you push it outside the visible area of the sreen, there are 2 things you can see this:
You will get a horizontal scrollbar that let you move the visible area, so you can get it back to the normal range
And the window will show under Window / Window List (Ctrl-W)

Re: stacking images in median mode

Kiril, Jonathan,

Median does work the same as it's name equivalent in mathematics/statistics ?
Adding up all values and dividing by the number of values ?
I had a quick search how it works in Photoshop in the LL example Marciej posted, but didn't find a good explanation so far.

Thanks!

Entering Angles, - on Keypad does not work

Playing around with rotations and entering angles in both Crop/Add Border and Level testing some things from this post: http://www.dl-c.com/board/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1128 I have noticed that I am not able to enter the minus sign (-) with the keypad, entering the numbers from keypad works fine, N...

Re: Text at 45 degrees ?

Bernard, I have done a test with rotating a image twice, 45 degrees in one direction and back to it's original orientation. With a Composite of both images as Input Images and overlay - Operation: Subtract one can show any difference, if both images are exactly the same the result should be all blac...

Re: Text at 45 degrees ?

Bernard, Make a mask with your text at the desired orientation and location: Create a 8 bit BW image with your text in horizontal position. Rotate it 45 degrees with Crop/ Add border, you can enter the degrees there directly. Create another 8 bit BW image exactly the same size as the image you want ...
