Re: Cropping multiple images

I normally do this with a short 3-step script:
1. Crop the image to the required ratio, for example 16:9 for tv-images
2. Resize to the required pixelsize, for example 1920x1080
3. Export the image to disk

If you define the Resize step as a Breakpoint you can adjust the cropping

Re: Update Available - Version 8.0.32

I don't think this is a Pentax related problem.
I did a test with a *.jpg from a friend he took with a Canon D5 IV and produced with Lightroom and Photoshop. Same result.
I save the image with Metadata "All" in PWP.

... and by the way: "Metadata are a mess" :-)

Re: Bounding Rectangle

Just another example: Resizing images for a FullHD TV. The size of the screen is 1080x1920 Pixel.
A bounding box 1080 pixel high and 1920 pixel wide should resize the image to fit on th screen. If you use a 4K-Screen (TV) just use the appropiate pixel values.

Re: batch processing image pairs

Maybe using a Digital Assets Management (DAM) system cures many of the mentioned problems.
I mostly shot RAW and my DAM (IMatch) treats the *.jpgs and *.tifs as versions of the RAWs. So I always have access to all produced files of the original RAW-file and from a *.jpg to the corresponding RAW.

Re: Digital Certificate

No problems with my System. I use Windows Defender too. No other virus-checker. I use just "local" accounts. No accounts in the "Windows Cloud". One account with admin rights and one without, which I normally use for everydays work. I download the setup-file (*.msi) to NAS-storag...
