Re: release info available?

To see what has been changed in each update of the current release (currently PWP 7), select Help/Check For Updates from the PWP main menu. You can check this menu choice periodically to see if a new update of PWP is available. Updates are free downloads for users of the current version. If you don'...

Re: Cycle images in reverse order

Den, thank you for providing information on the Window List dialog. There is also another way to navigate open windows -- the History tab on the browser. The history tab shows all open windows by category. Control windows are listed first. Image windows are shown in outline-fashion and the operation...

Re: PWPro and Windows 10

Thank you for bringing up the question.

The current version of Picture Window Pro (7.0.17) is compatible with Windows 10.

We have just updated the web site to reflect this information.

Re: Windows 10 Issue

I have just updated the PWP 7 setup.exe files for the 32 and 64 bit versions. These are now compatible with Windows 10, as well as with earlier Windows versions. Please note that only the installer has changed. The installed version is still PWP 7.0.17. Thus if you are up to date with your PWP insta...

Re: print preview stopped working

Two points which may help: The Print dialog has its own Print Preview right in the dialog window. Another feature which is often overlooked is that you can crop the image for printing by moving crop boundaries displayed on the image's image window. This cropping works for printing only and does not ...

Re: Using PWP to enhance scans from negs

When you tried the workflow again did you run it against a different set of images? It is possible that there was a problem with one of the images rather than with the workflow itself. I can't really comment further without seeing the workflow. You can send it to me at support#@dl-c.com. Please allo...

Re: Resize and Copy

Since the standard clipboard image does not specify color space, perhaps we should always convert to srgb on copy. Can anyone think of any cases where that would not be desirable?

Re: Resize and Copy

The Resize and Copy is meant to be a convenient way to get images to the clipboard to paste into other applications, such as emails, and web posts. The resize option was added to make it quick and easy to scale images to sizes reasonable for such applications. Auto conversion to 24 bits would be nic...

Re: Using PWP to enhance scans from negs

I am travelling right now. I will test to see if there is a bug when I get a chance. However, you do not have to delete processed images before adding new ones, since the workflow tracks what has already been processed. Here is the explanation: When you execute a workflow, the images that are proces...

Re: Text and super/sub script

The copy and paste in PWP has not changed in a long time except for the ability to handle larger images. However it's possible that Word no longer creates DIBs, but only DIBVs. (A program is free to store as many formats in the clipboard as it chooses. Then it is up to the paste application to selec...
