Re: Work in Progress
Did all of us with 4K monitors miss this? A sobering thought. No wonder photographers keep quoting Cartier-Bresson: "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept."

Re: questions: v1 suffix et al
With PWP 7 I too used to save when I had a reasonable result, maybe writing myself a note or two of crucial adjustments. The scripts in PWP8 and the stack of images are great. I can re-open with the script, then edit transformations and do a new one at any point in the stack of images. For what it m...

PWP 8 and two or more raw development programs
Sometimes I develop a raw file in two programs, like Raw Therapee and Silkypix. I'll choose one to begin processing in PWP 8, but there may be something I like about the tones and colors from the other program. Solution: open both start images in PWP 8. Use an appropriate transformation on the stack...

Save Script: Writing the filename
I typically want to name a script file after an image name. When I click on the latter in the Explorer window within the Save Script dialog, the filename without extension is written into the name field -- good. But if I then click Save, the dialog nags with an Error message that a .script extension...

Re: Some previews out of synchronization
I thought I had the mask overlay set to Red. It showed up after completing the mask. I speak in the past tense because I rolled back to the May 2 beta, so I'll wait and check again when you release a May 6 beta.

Re: Some previews out of synchronization
Related to the problem that when one makes a mask, the overlay (red or whatever the user chose) does not show up while making the mask?

Re: Why must Frame transform force conversion to working colorspace?
1) Temporarily change your working color space to sRGB. You can have multiple Color Management settings and save one for sRGB work as well as your usual Adobe RGB version, so it is easy to switch back and forth. (I recommend this option) The same thing happens with Composite, Layout, Stack Images, ...

Why must Frame transform force conversion to working colorspace?
By way of exception I wanted to frame and print an sRGB image. I loaded it into PWP8 without conversion to the working color space, Adobe RGB. When I launched the Frame transformation, it automatically converted the image to Adobe RGB - and it is easy to miss that the conversion happens. A warning a...

I presume there is a typo in the email address: email supoport@dl-c.com on http://www.dl-c.com/index.html.

Re: PWP enters beta -- Web site updated
A great program. I presume it's okay if we quote from your announcement email on various photography forums?
