Are there any transformations or tools to denoise color. I have tried without much success the denoise transform and advanced sharpening....could be my oversight or missing something??

Along those lines I have always wondered about cropping to zoom. I have found that I land on the best crop composition while zooming and panning to look at other aspects or check sharpening etc....It would be nice to hit a key and have it crop to the current zoom level of the image....As it stands n...

Marv if you just click on different parts of the image the preview window updates to show that area and I am assuming its at 1:1 where sharpening should be viewed ...generally if you could see significant sharpening on the full after preview it is probably over sharpened....this is how several image...

Allowing transforms as quick buttons in the menu/ribbon bar... Not sure if it is hard or easy to do but there is a lot of space to the right of the standard buttons....would be a nice addition to be able to check a box perhaps in the transform and have it added to that space...great for 6 or 7 commo...

Jonathan thanks for the clarification....one reason why I was asking is I was trying to perform the equivalent operation to obtaining the average colour of the entire image and then using the inverse colour applied with either overlay or softlight to see how that compared with a few methods that you...

I was trying to determine how to do an "overlay" blend mode and perhaps multiply...Terminology in Picture Window is a bit different...reading the documentation it sound like the filter transform is like multiply but I was not able to sort out a way to do an overlay ie dark darker light lig...

Would Adobe's DNG converter be of any benefit over the TIFF....maybe it alters your RAW somewhat...not really sure but PW 8 will load the DNG files..https://supportdownloads.adobe.com/deta ... ftpID=6789
