Light Falloff
Latest version. Experimenting, I took a number (8) of photos of a boat masts in a foggy harbour (you can only see the masts, against a, foggy, white background). In each photo a bird is seen flying across, from right to left. I processed the images out of my raw editor, with no changes. Normally, I ...

Latest version,
I can't seem to find anything in the Histogram Help File, nor the Curves and Histogram PDF, on HB Histograms. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Order of workflow
I have a number of photos of a waterfall, each one taken immediately after the previous, all taken with the same settings and camera position. I have done this in the past and, in processing, I would composite each photo with another, using the Lighten blend mode. This results in the areas in one ph...

Composite Mask Freehand
Latest version. Composite a portion of an Overlay image onto the Base image, using a Freehand Mask on the Overlay image. The lined outline does not appear (so it's best guess when trying to be precise) when drawing with the cursor. However, the outline will show if the mask is drawn on the Base imag...

Measure Tool
Tried to use the line and angle aspects of this tool. But confused as to what the measurement actually represents. The length as displayed does not represent the length of an object within the image (as expected), and it does not appear to reflect the length of the line, compared to a ruler held up ...

Re: Comp Mask Threshold
Jonathan,
Thanks for the detailed reply. I will give all of your suggestions a try, perhaps starting with Separate.

Comp Mask Threshold
I just typed out a long post, but when I pressed Submit, I received a message "The site can't be reached" and it was not posted, so this may be a duplicate. Trying to replace a sky in an image with one from another image. Used Composite with a mask on the Input image (both taken at differe...

Re: Dehalo and Amount Slider
Funny enough, just before I read your last post, I was about to suggest a small example tutorial on the use of the three sliders and in which order, be included in one of the Help files. I too, was confused by which, when and by how much.
I will give your suggested method a try.

Re: Dehalo and Amount Slider
Was about to ask a question about DeHalo and found this thread....so.... I must admit confusion on this tool, particularly as related to the Difference Threshold, and perhaps some words being used in the above explanation. I presume that a Halo can be more than 4 actual pixels in width, so when the ...
