Re: Something to consider
Sometimes, if I do not forget, after making new setting, I do a kind of a first dummy stroke that does virtually nothing but to which I can Undo without having to set everything again. I was wondering if a similar idea could be implemented into the Undo function. The first Undo click would always ju...

Something to consider
I have been long postponing this topic until I finally posted it Would it be possible to reduce the Paint Tool Redo the last operation to always redoing only the painting effect and leave the current settings as they were set? The reason is this: You set most of the sliders as Radius, Transparency, ...

Re: Saving clone revisited
It is not just when you re-open the transformation. If you save the workspace script, close it and reload it, you can see it already in the thumbnail - no need to re-open the transformation. It Iooks as if it is not saved in the script at all. In an attempt to better understand the difference I crea...

Re: Saving clone revisited
You are right. I checked the Recycle setting and it says No as a default. I must somehow have set it as my default long time ago. It must have been by mistake as I have never paid attention to the botom three controls so far, not even do I use Brush. Only after I reset all settings, did Yes jump in ...

Saving clone revisited
There still seems to be an issue with not saving all cloning in some cases. Let's have this simplified scenario: Set Mode to Darken Only, Cursors to Fixed 1. Clone sourcing from area A with somewhat higher transparency to create an area B as a target. Such as extending a shadow or a cloud or whateve...

Re: Flood fill question
OK. Thanks for the clarification. I was not sure whether this difference from other masking tools, such as paint, was intended.

Flood fill question
Clicking Add or Subtract buttons seems to do the same job as a mouse click, so it is not possible to switch, for example, from Add to Subtract and vice versa without at the same time adding or subtracting from where the point momentarily is. Example: I used Flood Fill to mask a region in the image. ...

Re: Selection tool bar
I only use the standard cursor, and it points properly. However, using the hovering cursor to pop-up tips I discovered something else. Here is the sumarization of observations: All are related only to the situation when a thumbnail is partly hidden under the Selection tool bar button Insert copies.....

Re: Selection tool bar
The simplest way to reproduce it: 1. Create a tree similar to the one in the image 1 (you need three branches to get a thumbnail under the Insert copies button *) 2. Drag the bottom edge of the PWP window up to display the right scroll bar 3. Drag the scroll bar slider down, or click under the slide...

Selection tool bar
When you make the tree log enough to automatically scroll up, it goes down under the Selection tool bar.
If you then want to copy a transformation and click on the Insert copies.... button, you activate the image hidden under the tool button instead.
