Paint tool cursor bug?
When using the paint tool, if I change the 'amount' slider, the round paint brush cursor turns back to a normal cursor. If I then reposition the menu, the cursor comes back as a brush again. The attached snapshot shows the settings I'm using. Also - changing the mode from 'darken only' to 'copy' als...

Re: rain drops removal
Jonathon - It is such a pleasure to use Picture Window Pro. I mentioned a problem (the rain drops) and you've added a new feature to help deal with it. This reminds me of working with a Japanese developer of a cheap/free Verilog simulator (that I still like to use) that was extremely responsive to b...

Re: rain drops removal
Thanks for the replies. I did some initial playing with the hot-spot tool and it seems to work
pretty well. I think with the tips so far I can salvage the image.
Thanks!!!

I took a photo on a recent trip during a storm and my lens got a some rain drops on it.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to minimize their effects?
Thanks!

Re: Tweak request when switching between branches
That sounds like a good solution. Maybe use Ctrl-D to toggle images much like where in a transform Ctrl-D toggles between before and after.

Tweak request when switching between branches
One thing I like to do is clone a branch so I can toggle back and forth so I can compare changes I've made. The left/right arrow key don't see to work the way I would expect, however. If I go to the actual branch boxes, the left/right arrow keys move as I would expect and move back and forth between...

Stretch transfom missing help topic?
Jonathon -
As always, thanks for your terrific program.
I'm trying to use the 'stretch' transform and the '?' button to get help does not appear to work.
It does fine on other transforms.
Thanks!

Re: Scanned image from 1970's era textured paper question
OK, I cheated on this. I've seen so much hype on AI assisted processing, I decided to try a online trial. The results are amazing. The artifacts (JPEG and paper texture) are gone. Things like our hair (fine detail) lo0k great - not over emphasized, but nice. I'd upload an image, but I don't see a wa...

Scanned image from 1970's era textured paper question
I have a color photo from the 1970's that was printed on a textured paper that was popular at the time, it had a grid-like texture. Does anyone have any ideas how to improve a picture scanned from this type of paper? One thought I had was that a 2D FFT might reveal the spacial frequencies of the pap...
