Re: Dragging gradient control point with color picker open
No offence taken at all. In fact, I mentioned as I am not sure I always express myself clearly.

Re: A question about Monochrome Texture
The texture I use is not a reaĺ texture but vertical lines. Originaly I was trying to use Halftone with my own screen, but the results hardly ever came right in color print. The colors or rather tints often came out unnatural, sometimes even not far from poisonous or "nuclear". :) Anyway, ...

A question about Monochrome Texture
It seems that the Texture used in Monochrome is not always applied to all parts of an Overlay image composited using some kind of alignment and operation Darken. It looks to me that the input image background covered with the overlay is involved. So instead of using the Texture tab in Monochrome I t...

Warp lock to respect deliberate dimension swap
A question about new Warp locks. To get a special warp effect I sometimes swap warp Width and Height dimensions of an image in the landscape mode with the purpose to compress and distrort the crop to a portrait mode. After that I overlay the distorted crop into an input image in Composite. With the ...

Re: Dragging gradient control point with color picker open
I am aware of the probing functionality of the eyedropper.
The reason why I opened the color picker was to use its brightness slider to adjust the ending control point from black to gray. After that dragged the mid control point in the preview to reposition it accordingly.

Dragging gradient control point with color picker open
Version 8.0.221 This is about newly added control points not the default ones. Oval gradient: 1. Put a new control point between the starting and endig points of the gradient bar. 2. Double-click on the new or the ending (rightmost) control point on the bar to display its color picker. 3. Drag the n...

Re: Composite overlay mask removed on reprocessing
One more observation - a bit confusing, sorry for that: (Not in the image) 1. Clone already cloned Composite (7) -> it gets cloned as 19 but without the mask - no mask thumbnail in the browser 2. Open Composite 19 and expand the Overlay Amount list -> there are two previous masks: 3 (original create...

Re: Composite overlay mask removed on reprocessing
As it shows, the parent image is not necessary though I added Brighteness Curve for an ilustration. Image 1 1. Create a branch with Composite, load an Overlay image, Create an Overlay mask (here gradient) 2. Clone the branch Image 2 1. Reopen Composite, go to Overlay Amount, reset the mask 2. Load t...

Composite overlay mask removed on reprocessing
1. Add Composite after a parent transformation, load an Overlay image and create a New mask on it (I used Gradient). 2. Clone the branch, go to Overlay Amount, reset the mask and load the Composite mask created in the previous step. 3. Do some minor unimportant change to the parent transformation (I...
