Re: Spectial Effects/Conformal Mapping

Thanks Jonathan. Here is what the transformation window looks like on my system: Win 7 Home Premium SP1; PWP 32 v6.0.10

Re: Spectial Effects/Conformal Mapping

It's been awhile since I played with the conformal mapping transformation, but it appears that the control window size/border issue in Windows 7 is still here. I thought I remembered this earlier conversation about a fix, so I'm just checking in. (Picture Window Pro 32 v6.0.10)

Re: PWP Seminar(s)

Thanks for your approval Alain and aloomens... I will get started on some new videos and let you all know when they are ready. Since the idea was to perhaps start building a resource library of sorts, I will review the "Picture Window Tips" section of the Board and try to include suggestio...

Re: PWP Seminar(s)

Thank you Bruce, you're very kind. I've been wanting to get back to this project, and now that Version 6 has arrived I will have to carve out some "free" time to produce a couple of new videos.

I'm open to suggestions for topics.

Re: PWP Seminar(s)

Hi Kieth, Since you asked, I made a couple of video tutorials a few years ago (PWP ver 4) that may also serve as examples: http://www.picturetheweb.com/ptw/downloads/downloads.htm (see "Mask Basics" and "Composite") I used Camtasia Studio to make the videos, and have been trying ...

Re: PWP Seminar(s)

Hi Marv, Yes, a few years back I offered an intensive weekend workshop based around PWP, but since I'm in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, I guess not many people wanted to make the trek (we "forum members" seem to be scattered all over the globe, so getting together in one location might be diff...

Re: Ltkrn15u.dll

Not that I can help to understand any of this, but this is my $0.02 worth. Ltkrn15u.dll shows up in six locations on my drive: one in an Olympus sub-directory and three times in various Canon sub-directories. It appears twice in DL-C sub-directories: one in the Ver 5.0 dir (dated 19/07/2010 468 byte...

Re: AHD and VNG interpolation artifacts

I have found that "Bilinear" interpolation used via ufraw/Gimp produces the cleanest outputs. Not sure if this is am option of dcraw or of ufraw though...

Re: "Close all windows" issue...

Yes that's true Bob, or I can close them all one at a time... but I'd rather the act of closing all windows did not reset my choice in the preferences.
