PWP7 posterize settings not compatible with PWP8

PWP7 Posterize settings cannot be loaded into PWP8 posterize dialog:
...- commmand line starts with wrong command: Poster

Is there a way to manually edit the PWP7 settings file so as to be accepted by PWP8?

Re: A Level issue at 45 degrees off the vertical or horizontal direction

2848 x 4288 px, 48-bit Color

I did some resizing and found the crash begins at about 2400 x 3600.
When croped it happens at about a square format 2848 x 2800

A Level issue at 45 degrees off the vertical or horizontal direction

When you drag the overlay line to its maximum allowed angle 45 degrees off the vertical or horizontal direction and release the mouse button, PWP crashes.

Two things about printing

A. 1. click the Printer icon on the menu bar or select the Print... command from the File menu -> this will add an empty Print thumbnail 2. close (x) or Cancel the Print dialog without doing anything -> the empty Print thumbnail is not automatically closed and clicking it does not recall the dialog ...

Frame Inner Mat Scale Factor value is wrong

Frame Inner Mat Scale Factor remembers the new slider position but it takes the numerical value from the Outer Mat Scale Factor. 1. Move the Inner Mat Scale Factor away from its default of 1.0 2. Leave the Outer Mat Scale Factor at 1.0 or move it elsewhere but different from the Inner Mat Scale Fact...

Stepped upscaling ?

I have rediscovered a forgotten interesting article about printing and (extreme) scaling, here: https://photo.stackexchange.com/questions/1715/how-do-i-generate-high-quality-prints-with-an-ink-jet-printer The described "simple trick" of the stepped bicubic scaling has provoked an idea whether it cou...

Re: Some transformation relations oddities

Thanks for the tip.
I normally do not have problems with Halftone, at least the way I usually use it in my workflow. I just got an idea what would come out of a halftoned High Contrast image or vice versa.

Some transformation relations oddities

The following workflow examples may not make much sense but they demonstrate complicated relations between transformations and possible problems in their mutual compatibility. By the way, use ordinary Blur after Halftone as described below does not make sense but use Median Blur does for some specia...

Re: Bug fix release 29-Dec-2018

What I had in mind was something more simple (I wonder..). Those building block scripts I mentioned would be composed of a small (even limited) number of transformations and could only have auxiliary inputs like textures, etc.. no top level input images - they would not create trees, they would be j...
