Re: Display Scale and PWP7/8

When you let Window scale an application, it magnifies everything, including fonts, icons and images by resampling the entire screen. For large high-dpi screens, this makes the fonts and icons legible but blurs images. PWP avoids this by registering as DPI-aware (new mostly in Windows 10) so it hand...

Update Available - Version 8.0.9

An update is available to Version 8.0.9 (20-Nov-2019) The changes (taken from the update log) are: New Levels and Color Tool (Transformations/Tools/Levels and Color). This lets you paint color and brightness adjustments directly on the output image, thus replacing some of the missing tools from PWP ...

Re: Advanced Sharpen

The preview is to speed up the operation which, if applied to the entire image, can be quite slow depending on the settings. To see a full image preview that you can zoom and scroll, click the Running Man icon just above the preview to update the output image. You seem to be confusing the Halo Limit...

Re: Imposible to press Display Side by Side button in Clone

The way to clone from one image to another is the select the alternate input image into the Source Image control. To return to cloning from the output image, click its thumbnail in the image browser. To switch to cloning from one of the input images, click its half-size thumbnail in the image browse...

Re: Bypass not toggling if its corresponding dialog is open

I tried leaving dialog boxes open initially, but the results were very confusing. For example, if you have two Multi Color Balance transformations open and each of them has color pickers open, since the color pickers have the same names, it is almost impossible to keep everything straight. With more...

Re: Bypass not toggling if its corresponding dialog is open

Point taken -- the only other workable alternative I can think of is the force the currently open dialog box to be closed when switching to a different image. This potentially has a lot of overhead in terms of propagating all the changes through the rest of the branch and it also overwrites the prev...

Re: Lost in Windows 10 display settings

While I have never used the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel, it looks like something you would use when calibrating your laptop screen as a replacement for the brightness and color controls an external monitor normally has. If you have a separate monitor calibration device such as a Datacolor Spyder...
