When I bring up a new image, it is displayed surrounded by a white border. I don't see any spot in the Preferences->Themes menu to change the background from a color other than white. There are ties when I want a black or gray surround rather than screaming white. Am I missing a menu option someplac...

When I create a mask and use the 'Oval Gradient' tool, I see unexpected movement of the resulting mask when I try to move it around. This is nowhere's near being a feature requirement, maybe just a nice to have... Would it be possible to add a histogram and/or a brightness curve display to the Levels & Colors tool? I'm just curious to be able to see what kind of curve is being applied as I tweak the contrast and levels adjust...

I'm not sure about the intermediate size change possibility.

Would it be relatively easy to still show the illegal masks but put them red to show they are intentionally disabled?
