Crop

I think I may have asked before but can't recall a response. I tried to search for the post however there were 37 pages of search results so thought it easier to just ask. When using the Crop Tool, regardless of the size of the crop, once OK is pressed and a result is given, the initial image is ren...

Re: Cursor

In response to your question, I tried a couple things again, and it appears it may have something to do with a second monitor (where I keep the browser and dialogue boxes when they come up). I just tried Composite, with a freehand mask and initially the cursor starts as either a hand, angled arrow o...

Cursor

The cursor for some operations, including freehand masking, will now start with a double ended arrow, rather than the traditional cross-hair. A couple other operations have the same thing, but I did not pay enough attention initially to provide specifics. Sometimes it is a horizontal line/arrow and ...

Re: Program Crash

I should add, further to the most recent post, I just went through the same operation again (trying to get this image done), with multiple composites along the same lines (chipping away at some smaller stuff within the same image, using the polygon) and the composite portion seemed fairly stable. Ho...

Re: Program Crash

I just tried the same operation again, two times, with the same images. This time the composite process was successful on both occasions (the only difference was the size of the mask). However, on both of these occasions, when I did a "File Save As" (using the icon), the file was saved but PWP crash...

Program Crash

I just downloaded the latest version, which solved a minor issue (referenced in another thread). However, now I have tried three attempts at compositing two images (48 bit, 2000 x 2997 so not very large) together using a mask (polygon, taking up about 1/8th of the image) on the base image. The opera...

Re: Zoom Blur

Jonathan, I just downloaded the latest update and tried this again. When I Reloaded Last Settings, the wait time was much shorter so I let it run. And it produced the result I was looking for. The thing that confused me was when the Reload Last Settings is clicked, it leaves the center location + in...

Re: Zoom Blur

Sorry, I made a bit of a mistake in my most recent post; using a mask did not solve the problem, the halo I mentioned is still present as it appears it still interacted with the building (although it was outside the masked area, which seems weird to me). I inadvertently viewed the wrong image when I...

Re: Zoom Blur

Jonathan, Thanks for the response. I just tried it again (after running it through the first time with clicking OK) and it did not restore the center location, but left it back at the center of the image. Having said that, as the time went up to 14 minutes, I did not let it run out and just clicked ...

Re: Zoom Blur

Thanks for the replies. I actually don't have much of an issue with waiting for the final Zoom Blur results with the chosen settings, it's just the time taken to see some samples of various settings that I'd prefer not to do. However, as tomczak pointed out, I will likely add a resize or crop step i...
